On behalf of pupils and staff, I would like to warmly welcome you to our school website.
It is the intention of all staff that the children who attend our school enjoy school life to the full as they follow our vision and values.
Our Vision is:
To 'Learn Laugh Achieve' by being the 'Best' You Can Be'.
Our School Values are:
Aspiration, Belief, Creativity, Determination, Enjoyment and Friendship
There are many activities offered by the school, both inside and outside the classroom. These are challenging and interesting and we provide many creative learning opportunities for the children to ensure they gain a range of experiences which contribute to their knowledge and skill development. We believe this provides children with the key skills they need in order to be successful lifelong learners, and these are reflected in our core school values and our strong family ethos.
In March 2022 we had our latest Ofsted Inspection and unfortunately the outcome was not what the school expected! As a school that is 100% committed to improvement the journey has already begun. Many of the key issues have already been addressed and we strive for continuous improvement through regular reviews with the Local Authority and are challenged and supported by our Governing Board who are actively involved in school life.
By working together - staff, pupils, parents and governors strive to ensure children at Morton Primary School reach their full potential and give them the building blocks they need to help them prepare for life beyond Primary School.
We are a small, popular school with a big heart and are known for our sporting achievements, quality of work and talented and confident pupils with a determination to succeed.
